1) Place the guide comb into
the notches.
To remove the guide comb:
Hold the guide comb by its tab and lift it up.

Using the hair clipper

Before clipping, hair should be clean, dry, well combed and untangled.
1. Place a towel around the neck of the person whose hair you want to cut to prevent hair
from falling around their neck.
2. It is best if the person whose hair you are cutting is seated. This
ensures that all parts of the head are clearly visible and can be
easily reached.
3. Comb the hair in the direction of growth.
4. Attach the guide comb to the device (see paragraph "Attaching/
removing a guide comb").
During initial use, we advise you to choose a length setting longer than the
one you desire, so you can get used to the different cutting lengths. You can
then reduce the length setting in stages, until you reach the desired length. For
subsequent use, you can select the desired length setting straight away.
5.Hold the device with a soft, relaxed hand to better control the cut.
6.To switch on the clippers, press the on/off button. The LCD screen will light up.
