Disconnect the mains adapter from the power

socket before cleaning or maintaining the device.
Never immerse the device or the mains adapter in

water or any other liquid.
• Never use abrasive products, scouring pads or substances such as alcohol or acetone
to clean the device.
Cleaning
• Switch off the device by pressing the on/off button: After a few seconds, the LCD screen
will turn off, which means that the device has shut down.
• Wipe the main body of the device with a soft, dry cloth.
• Oil the blades whenever the

• After each use, use the cleaning brush provided to remove the remaining hair on the
blades. We recommend removing the blades every six months for thorough cleaning.
REMOVING THE BLADES
1. Remove the guide comb.
2. Set the length adjustment dial to the lowest position (3 mm).
3. Push the blades outwards as shown in the diagram opposite.
4. To put the blades back in place, position the bottom of the blades
into the notch provided for this purpose then click them into the
trimmer by pressing on them.
Lubricating the blades
Remember to lubricate the trimmer blades regularly to keep the device in good working
condition. Refer to the paragraph on "Lubricating the blades" on page 13.
