• Take care not to wet the underside of the bowl
where the bowl contacts are. If they accidentally
get wet, dry them thoroughly with a cloth before

putting the bowl back on the bowl mounting.
• Remove any food residue from the safety
device on the bowl handle on the column of the
product.
• Clean the base of the product and the bowl mounting with a damp cloth
that has been thoroughly wrung out, taking care not to wet the area
where the bowl connector is.
• Dry the washed parts thoroughly.
CLEANING THE HELICAL DRIVE SPINDLE
We recommend removing the helical drive spindle and cleaning it to eliminate any food residue on the
seal.
• To remove the helical drive spindle, turn the ring nut anti-clockwise.
• Remove the spindle from the bowl.
• Wash the spindle, its seal and the ring nut by hand, using hot water and washing up liquid, then dry
thoroughly.
• Put the spindle back in the bowl, holding it with your hand.
• Fit the lock ring and turn the ring fully clockwise to fasten.
CLEANING USING THE MOTOR
Once you have finished using the appliance, the inside of the bowl can be cleaned as follows:
• Remove the food from the bowl and remove the accessory used.
• Insert the blade for chopping and kneading.
• Fill the bowl with 1 litre of hot water and add a drop of dishwasher detergent. As an alternative to
detergent, you can add a tablespoon of coarse salt (to remove food that has stuck on) or lemon juice
(to eliminate any odours).
• Close the lid and fit the measuring cup.
• Press the pulse button for as long as necessary.
• Empty the bowl and rinse it under running water.
Regularly check the condition of the lid seal, the helical drive spindle seal, the bowl contacts and the
bowl connector. If any signs of damage or wear are found, contact an authorised technical service centre.
