1. Place bolt plates in tow bars and attach to coupler using the supplied 3/8" hardware.
2. Center the tow bar on the mounting surface. Spread the tow bars to a minimum of 24" between the frame
mounting brackets. A spread of 35" to 39" is best for a secure tow bar alignment; but NO MORE than 39 -1/2".
Attach the frame mounting brackets to a flat, vertical surface as near the bumper mounting brackets as
possible. Drill four 1/2" attachment holes in the mounting surface at the pre-determined points.
3. Attach both frame mounting brackets to their attachment points with the supplied 1/2" x 1-1/2" hex bolts and
the fabricated reinforcement plates. Place the reinforcement plates inside the bumper mounting surface. Only
hand tighten attachment bolts at this time.
