scenario "A"
7.1.1 - Installation
To install the transmitter in scenario type "A", it must be
fixed to the window pane associated with the shutter to be
controlled, using the relative suction cup. The transmitter
can be positioned at point on the vertical axis of the win-
dow, with the display facing the room interior. The shutter
should be located on the other side of the window pane,
directly in contact with the external ambient (during its
movements, the shutter should shut out all direct sunlight
from the device sensor).
Also observe the following warnings: a) the point at which
the device is fixed will also be the point at which the shutter
stops during the closing manoeuvre, to complete a "partial
close" command (fig. 4); b) the temperature sensor of the
transmitter must not be disturbed by draughts of hot air
due to the excessive vicinity of radiators or similar devices;
c) before attaching the suction cup to the pane, clean the
window and dampen the disk with water to ensure efficient
grip on the glass.
7.1.2 - Automatic command operation
If the transmitter is installed in scenario "A", the "Mode"
scenario "B"
function must be programmed as described in chapter 10,
selecting one of the following options for automatic com-
mand operation.
4
• "Mode 1" – (fig. 5) Selection of this option enables auto-
matic delivery of commands to the shutter, based exclu-
sively on data read by the rear brightness sensor (the
option disables the front brightness sensor and the tem-
perature sensor).
The "mode 1" option sets the system to operate as follows:
with the shutter open and the brightness sensor exposed,
when brightness increases to exceed the upper threshold,
after five minutes the shutter lowers to the point at which
the transmitter is installed and moves back up by a few
centimetres to leave the brightness sensor exposed (par-
tial close).
Subsequently, when brightness decreases gradually to fall
below the lower threshold, after 15 minutes the shutter ris-
es completely (total opening).
