1 Hardware Connections

1 Use an Ethernet cable to connect a LAN port on the PLA-
470 to an Internet gateway (for example a DSL modem).
2 Use an Ethernet cable to connect another LAN port on the
PLA-470 to a computer.
3 Use the included power cord to connect the POWER port
on the PLA-470 to a power outlet. This is also your
powerline connection.
You do not need to use the ENCRYPT button. It
is reserved for future use.
