Interface Commands

SBI-protocols can be used to save and read data records to and from the alibi memory.
Please use the operating instructions of the corresponding device to configure protocol
settings and set up SBI commands (data input format).
When the SBI protocol "data output" is set to "Manual after stability" or "Protocol printout
for computer," the alibi memory is specified with each ESC P command in parallel to the
output.
Independent of the "data output," it is possible to use the command:
ESCa6_:
to write the next stable weight value once to the alibi memory.
ESCa4x_: x is the transaction number of the data record that is to be read from the
alibi memory.
The reply to the commands is the same and depends on the "line format" of the
SBI protocol.
If the "line format is set to 16 characters, you will only receive the net value as the reply:
+
1.1 g
For the default setting (22 characters), all relevant data from the alibi entry are sent
as a reply:
--------------------
N
3.0 g
T
+
2196.3 g
PT2
0.0 g
G#
+
2199.3 g
SerNo. 1234567890
MemNo. 51456
--------------------
The lines with "---..." and "---..." are for identification in a data stream triggered by
SBI Autoprint. This enables improved differentiation of the alibi data block.
Serial number of the balance/scale that supplies
the weight value
Transaction number of the data record
