3.6.3 Cabling

The flexible lead that is used for the electric connections, must be at least protected by an ordinary PVC sheath
and respect 227 IEC 53 standards (CENELEC H05VV-F or H05VVH2-F or better)
With reference to Fig. 15:

Then use the 2 straps supplied to strap the two wires that have just been passed through, to the existing cables: the straps are put
in the position shown by the arrows. Finally, tighten the four bushings of the cable clamps.
The potentiometer, on the electronic card, is set by the factory to the value 100. To reduce the humidification capacity of the machine see par.
5.2 Adjusting the humidification capacity
Once the electrical connections have been carried out, carefully close the box with its screws, and put it back in position, and block it with its
lock spring c.
At the end of installation the inside of the machine should be seen as shown in Fig. 15

Remove the electric connection box by
levering on the lock spring c. The box
comes down: remove the cover by
unscrewing the four screws. In the
box there are two cable clamps that
will be used to pass the power cable
and the humidistat cable up to the
electronic card.

Pass the power cable through the
cable clamp 1a of the machine, and
then through the cable clamp 1b of
the electronic card. Fasten the neutral
and phase (live) wires to the
terminals of the card and the

ground wire to the free (loose)
terminal inside the box.

If the fitting of the humidistat is
chosen, in the same way pass the
wire through the cable holder 2a, then
through cable holder 2b of the
connection box and connect it to the
terminals UMID UMID of the electronic UMID UMID
board. The cable holder is fitted with
a special plug that is suggested to
keep safe for an eventual future use.
The humidistat connection
cable must be shielded and
must be passed, if possible,
away from power supply
cables.
