6.1 Anti-freeze device (optional)

The anti-freeze device is necessary when the NEB6500 is installed in an environment where the temperature could drop below 0°C.
ATTENTION: keep to the operation limits shown in Tab. 1.
If this happens, in fact, ice may form inside the machine and compromise its good operation. The machine is already predisposed for installing
the anti-freeze kit, which can therefore be installed in a few minutes.
The device consists of an armoured electrical resistance element, the operation of which is controlled by the electronic card and by the
temperature sensor, connected to it. The resistance is enabled when the temperature inside the machine comes close to 0°C.
In this way a flow of warm air is generated which prevents the formation of ice, permitting the NEB6500 to operate at temperatures of up to –
2°C.
Below this temperature the use of the machine is not advisable because of the operating principle itself.
When the temperature inside the machine goes above +2.5°C, the electronic card disables the resistance element, and so prevents waste of
energy.
The resistance element has been designed in safety, and if, unfortunately, the thermostat device should break down it will never reach
hazardous temperatures.
ATTENTION: the anti-freeze device is only supplied on request, and must be fitted by the client.

6.2 Optional kits fitting

Carefully follow the instructions supplied with the kit. After fitting the kit, refer to the standard checklists on the present user's manual before
restarting the machine.
