5 Fitting
Note
If the shaft is damaged, it will not be poss-
ible to synchronize the axes.
S Check to see whether the connecting
shaft shows any signs of transport or
storage damage, especially buckling,
dents or bending.
A KSK-... with such damage cannot be
used further.

Measure the positioning path k of the
slide on both axes for each revolution of
the drive pin.
The parallel structure permits a static
total offset of the slides to each other over
the total positioning path of the axes as
shown in Fig. 23.
The smaller the deviation D k of the feed constants, the better the two axes will
harmonize with each other (see chapter Characteristic curves).
