• Inspect the helmet after EACH
use following the inspection pro-
cedure in the instructions.
Replace ANY part showing wear
or damage.
• NEVER alter, paint, or attach any
item not recommended by MSA
to the helmet.
• NEVER use any abrasive clean-
ers or solvents. Clean with mild
cleaners and a soft cloth.
Failure to follow these warnings can
result serious personal injury or
death.

BEFORE USE

Use only accessory equipment of the
type included in the original helmet or
approved by MSA CairnsHELMETS.
Using unauthorized accessories may
dramatically change the performance
of the helmet.

All helmet markings (e.g. front identifi-
cation shields, title tapes, decals, retro
reflective trim. etc.) must either be
supplied by a MSA CairnsHELMETS
authorized fire service distributor or
authorized for use in writing by MSA
CairnsHELMETS.
All helmet accessories (e.g. flashlight
brackets, communications head sets,
etc.) must be either supplied by a
MSA CairnsHELMETS authorized fire
service distributor or authorized for
use in writing by MSA
CairnsHELMETS.
This helmet must be used within the
guidelines of NFPA 1500, Standard on
Fire Department Occupational Safety
& Health Program, and Title 29, Code
of Federal Regulations, Part 1910.132,
General Requirements of Subpart 1,
Personal Protective Equipment.
