Sand Paper Installation
• Select the appropriate sand paper grain.
• Available grains vary from very coarse to very fine.
• The coarse grain is used to sand on rough surfaces. The
medium grain is used for light jobs and the fine grain is used for
finishing jobs.
• It is advisable to make tests on a piece of scrap work piece
piece to determine the right grain for each particular job.
• Do not use the same sand paper for wood and for metal.
Metal particles can be embedded in the sand paper and ruin
the wood surface.
Sand paper installation (A).
• Release the sand paper brackets on both sides of the sander.
• Insert the end of the sand paper under one of the brackets
and secure. Pull the other edge so that the sand paper sits
evenly onto the base.
• Verify the sand paper orifices in the sand paper (if any) match
with those in the base. Then, adjust the other edge.
• If the sand paper installed has no appropriate orifices you can
punch them with the hole puncher included. Support properly
the hole puncher. Match the sander base with the hole puncher
