Important
- Prior to any journey, always check whether the roof carrier
is anchored correctly and whether the load is secured and
fastened properly.
GB
- Distribute the load on the roof carrier evenly and make sure
the centre of gravity is as low as possible.
- Position any small and very heavy loads on the roof carrier
towards one side (not to its centre).
- During transportation of high-volume objects (e.g. roof
boxes, bicycles, etc), the roof is exposed to even higher
loading due to strongly increased air resistance and so you
are required to adapt your travelling speed to the existing
conditions.
- When transporting any load, always observe the safety rules
of the respective country.
- In case you do not need to use the roof carrier, we recom-
mend you to demount it so as to increase road safety, and
lower air resistance as well as fuel consumption.
Note. Always check the bolted connections and load an-
choring after having been driving for a while. Carry out
similar control prior to every journey!
Advice
- Grease the lock cylinders and fastening bolts with the re-
commended agent CONCOR 101 at least once a year.
The producer shall not be liable for any damage caused
by incorrect mounting.
