General notes
The dimensions sheets must be observed during installation. These can be found in the appendix to these
installation instructions.
All plug connections with sleeves should be secured with Spax screws. To do this, a Spax screw should
be drilled through the sleeve on each connection and must engage in the pipe slid into the sleeve.

Tank connections
The inlets and outlets for the preliminary sedimentation, fluid
bed and final sedimentation tanks are at the face end on the
tank's top. Alternatively the inlet to the waste water treatment
system can be connected to the dome shaft. The holes
should be made with a Ø 124 mm core drill. A DN 100 lip
seal should be fastened in the openings.
At least 200 mm of the pointed end of the connection pipes
should be inserted in the tanks.

Outlet scum baffles in the preliminary sedimentation tanks
An outlet scum baffle is fitted in the preliminary sedimentation
tanks on the outlet side. To fit the baffle, guide the pointed
end of the pipe for the tank connection through the lip seal
approx. 10 cm into the tank. The baffle, consisting of a T-
piece, is then attached to the pipe using a pipe that has been
extended downwards.
4.5
Inlet scum baffles in fluid bed tank
The inlet scum baffle in the bio chamber prevents the carrier
material drifting back into the preliminary sedimentation tank.
The baffle plate consists of a perforated T-piece. The T-piece
is attached to the connection pipe from preliminary
sedimentation. This should be guided 10 cm into the tank
accordingly.
