Note about insects in the device
Spiders and other insects can crawl into the grill pipes that are connected to the burner.
Spiders build webs and nests and lay eggs. The webs or nests can be very small.
However, they are very strong and can therefore block the gas flow. Clean the burners
before first use after storage, at the beginning of the barbecue season or after you have
not used the grill for at least one month.
Spider catchers are located at the air inlets to minimize this problem but still cannot
eliminate it. A blockage can lead to a „flashback" (fire in the burner lines). The grill will
still ignite, but the blockage prevents the gas from flowing completely into the burner.
