Cleaning the burner structure
Follow these instructions to clean and / or replace parts of the burner design or if you
have trouble lighting the grill.
1. Turn off the gas at the control buttons and the gas cylinder.
2. Remove hotplates, grease collector and grease tray.
3. Remove the screw at the end of the burner. Use a screwdriver for this.
4. Carefully lift the burner and remove it from the valve openings.
Note: Also inspect the burner for any damage (cracks or holes). If you find any
damage, replace the burner with a new one. Reinstall the burner and ensure that the
gas valve openings are properly positioned and secured in the burner insert.
We recommend three ways of cleaning the burner lines. Just use the method that is
easiest for you.
A) Bend a stiff wire (a flexible hanger works very well) into a small hook. Slide the
hook through the burner lines and the burner several times.
B) Use a tight bottle handle with a flexible handle (never use a wire brush) and let the
brush slide through the burner lines and the burner several times.
C) Wear eye protection: Use an air hose to force air into the burner line and outlets.
Check each air outlet to ensure that air comes out of each hole.
5. Brush the entire surface of the burner to remove food residue and dirt.
6. Clean blocked outlets with a stiff wire, such as an open paper clip.
7.
Check the burner for damage. Normal wear and corrosion can make some holes
bigger. If you find large cracks or holes, replace the burner.
