PREPARING THE PUMP FOR INSTALLATION
□
Screw all piping joints to the pump hand-tight (1 to 1-1/2 turns). If you over-tighten it may break the pump and void the warranty.
□
Connect all hoses and pipes in the suction line, and tighten. Air leaks in the suction line will prevent priming and reduce performance.
NOTE: To prevent any damage, do not use pipe joint compounds on the pump ports. Only use PTFE tape or Plasto Joint Stik to seal the pipe
threads.
