Inputs 1-4
The input section of the 480 DriveRack™ offers four electronically
balanced XLR connectors. Inputs 3 and 4 offer Line/RTA switches that
allow you to run a real time audio analyzer microphone directly into the
input of the 480 DriveRack™. The four XLR inputs of the 480 DriveRack™
also offer Pin 1 lift switches which lift the ground of the selected XLR input
pair when pressed.
WARNING -
For proper operation of the RTA microphone, the RTA
button must be depressed and the ground /lift switch must be in the
grounded position. When the RTA button on the back panel is depressed,
48V phantom power is applied to pins 2 and 3 of the XLR connector. To
maintain a proper ground return for the phantom power, the ground/lift
switch must be in the grounded position. This will prevent the possibility
of electrical shock.
1.2 Front Panel (480)
LCD Display
The large LCD display of the 480 DriveRack™ provides the user with all of
the vital processing information of the DriveRack™ including: signal
routing, configuration modes, effect block editing and RTA displays. The
top left corner of the display indicates network device ID numbers. The
reverse background number indicates the number of the slave unit being
controlled, while Mst indicates that the unit is set to act as the master.
Function Buttons
The function buttons of the 480 DriveRack™ allow access to all editing and
navigating functions of the 480 DriveRack™.
Parameter Knobs
The parameter knobs of the 480 DriveRack™ allow the user to edit
parameters of selected effects of the 480 DriveRack™. The parameter
knobs of the 480 and 480R DriveRack™ units also incorporate light display
Logicators™ which surround the knob itself and indicate levels of
parameter and effect activity. The parameter knobs of the 480 DriveRack™
also provide theuser with different modes of functionality including:

Entradas 1-4
La sección de entrada del DriveRack™ 480 consta de cuatro conectores
XLR balanceados electrónicamente. Las entradas 3 y 4 disponen de
interruptores de línea/RTA que le permiten conectar un micrófono de
análisis de audio en tiempo real directamente a la entrada del DriveRack™
480. Las cuatro entradas XLR del DriveRack™ 480 también disponen de
interruptores de anulación de punta 1 que al pulsarlos desconectan la tierra
del par de entrada XLR elegido.
AVISO -
Para un correcto funcionamiento del micrófono RTA, el botón
RTA debe estar pulsado y el interruptor de tierra/anulación debe estar en
la posición de tierra. Cuando el botón RTA del panel trasero esté pulsado,
se aplicarán 48V de alimentación fantasma a las puntas 2 y 3 del conector
XLR. Para mantener un retorno de tierra adecuado para la alimentación
fantasma, el interruptor tierra/anulación ha de estar en la posición de
tierra. Esto le evitará el riesgo de descargas eléctricas.
1.2 Panel delantero (480)
Pantalla LCD
La gran pantalla LCD del DriveRack™ 480 le proporciona al usuario toda
la información fundamental sobre el procesado efectuado por el
DriveRack™, como el direccionamiento de señal, los modos de
configuración, la edición de bloques de efectos y las indicaciones RTA. En
la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla aparecen los números de
identificación de las unidades en la red. El número en vídeo inverso le
indica el número de la unidad esclava que esté siendo controlado, mientras
que los caracteres Mst significan que la unidad está configurada para actuar
como master.

funciones de edición y navegación del DriveRack™ 480.
Mandos de parámetros
Los mandos de parámetros del DriveRack™ 480 permiten al usuario editar
los parámetros de los efectos elegidos en el DriveRack™ 480. Los mandos
de parámetros de las unidades DriveRack™ 480 y 480R también disponen
de indicadores luminosos Logicators™ que rodean al propio mando e
indican los niveles del parámetro y la actividad del efecto. Los mandos de
parámetros del DriveRack™ le permiten al usuarioacceder a distintos
