8 Alarms

Some fails can happen during the operation, and will be shown as a beep and a
message in the display.
To avoid unnecessary alarms, errors 01, 04, 05 and 06 must be checked after 90
minutes from the starting or from the opening.
Alarms are established as follows:
01 Open door for more than 20 seconds. While the door is open the CO
cut. When alarm 01 is produced, the heating of the chamber is cut but not the
heating of the door. The error disappears when closing the door.
02 The temperature of the chamber exceeds the alarm temperature set by the user
for more than 7 minutes. The consequence is that all the main heating is cut.
The beep stops when pushing the single button (1)
03 Low CO
It does not have any effect on the function. When pushing the single button (1),
the alarm stops but it appears again if the problem persists.
04 The measured CO
Close the CO
the message only disappears when pushing the single button (1).
05 The chamber temperature is lower than the minimum programmed value. This
is an informative alarm. It does not have any effect on the function. The error
message will disappear when the machine returns to the normal levels by push-
ing the single button (1).
06 The measured CO
user. This is an informative alarm. It does not have any effect on the function.

07 CO

the chamber might have a leakage loss. This is an informative alarm. It does
not have any effect on the function. The audible alarm stops after some minutes
but the message only disappears when pushing the single button (1).
08 The difference between the two probes is higher than 2ºC for more than 5
minutes. This alarm leaves the incubator in STOP status. This alarm indicates
that one of the probes is not working correctly or that it is not well connected.
The alarm status produces an intermittent acoustic signal for 15 seconds. Furthermore,
it gives an electrical signal of 24V DC 100 mA in the terminal block (8) on the rear part
where it is possible to connect a buzzer, a lamp or other device the user could have.
9 RS-232 Communications
Through the connector RS-232 (3), it is possible to:
- Record the temperature, CO
- Manage the control panel from a PC locking the panel of the incubator.
