give this indication too.
12 CALIBRATION OF THE NOON WITH AN
EXTERNAL THERMOMETER
The calibration is standard and easy with a regular
thermometer. It may also be calibrated by the user with
ease. In order to calibrate the probe with an external
thermometer, the user will have to switch on the
appliance with the switch and when the visual display
indicates "SYSTEM TEST", press the °C button (3).
The Noon temperature reading appears on the display.
With the buttons UP/DOWN (2) we will introduce the
temperature as it shows on the external thermometer.
Pressing SET will cause an acoustic indicator indicating

14 EXTRA FUNCTIONS
In this section we will explain some of the extra functions
and security features. These norms are applicable to
all the Noon models and they are an essential part of
reading this manual.
Security Thermostat
In case of overheating the security thermostat will stop
the heating resistance and pump automatically, and the
user will have to do the following:
- First disconnect the device through the general switch.
- Let the liquid cool down below the selected
temperature.
- Turn the device on again, and verify that the heating
resistance starts again.
- Find out the possible causes for the thermostat
reaction and if it is the case, contact the technical
service.
Water level detention
The equipment incorporates a security system that
stops at the minimum water level. When the water level
drops below the established security level, the system
informs the user with a continuous sound and light
signals and then stops the cooking process. One should
fill the tank or bath until it reaches the minimum level.
The equipment will function again instantaneously,
returning to the exact parameters that were previously
programmed before the security stop.
It is important that when we let the thermal circulator
run without any surveillance, it should be covered
with the lid or plastic film to avoid excess evaporation
and the stopping of the cooking process.
Memory and security parameters
An alternative memory system allows recovery of the
functions and programming before any temporary
failure in the power supply. The equipment is designed
in a way that if for any reason an energy failure stops
the device, once it is working again, its memory would
recover the last reading made before the blackout, (this
reading is made every 5 minutes) placing the same
parameters, mode, time, temperature and/ or exact
