HEATING LIQUIDS USING THE STEAM FUNCTION

The steam wand (without the foamer) can be used to make hot drinks, like hot
chocolate, hot water or tea.
Method:
Open the water tank lid, pour the water into the tank in line with the steps outlined

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Switch off the electrical supply and leave the coffee machine to completely cool

down before cleaning.
Regularly clean the coffee maker unit with a sponge, and regularly clean the hot

plate and removable grille, then leave it to dry completely.
Note: Do not clean the appliance with alcohol or a solvent. Do not immerse
the unit in water to clean it.
Remove the metal filter holder by turning it clockwise. Empty out the coffee

Clean all of the removable accessories in water and dry them completely.

DESCALING (espresso-making system)
To guarantee your coffee maker's operational efficiency, the cleanliness of internal

pipes and the taste of the coffee, remove mineral deposits every 2 - 3 months.
Fill the water tank with water and limescale remover to the maximum level

(the ratio of water to limescale remover must be 4 to 1. Follow the limescale
remover instructions). Use a "household limescale remover". You can also use citric
acid (available in shops) instead of limescale remover (the ratio of water to citric
acid must be 100 to 3).
Depending on the pre-heating program, insert the metal filter holder (without

the ground coffee) and the coffee pot. Heat the water by following the steps in
the "PRE-HEATING" section.
Press the button for the espresso function. The function light (red) comes on

When the green light remains on, pre-heating is finished. Press the

Fill the tank with water and limescale remover to the maximum level (i.e.

approximately 1.25 L; the ratio of water to limescale remover must be 4 to 1.
Follow the limescale remover instructions). Use a "household limescale remover".
