1. How to maximize your security and protection of your machine

Failure to observe at least the following instructions may cause immediate damage to
the user and/or the equipment.
1.
Follow the safety recommendations in this manual (see pages 53, 54 and 58).
2.
Take into account the effects of kickback and attitudes to minimise it (see pages
55, 56, 58 y 59).
3.
Strictly follow all battery charging and usage instructions (see page 56 to 58).
4.
Fix the disc or accessory correctly and never use discs and accessories of poor
quality or in poor conservation status. Do not carry out any adaptation of accessories,
parts, etc (see pages 54, 56, 57, 60 y 61).
5.
Do not use discs with lower limit rotation than the angle grinder (see page 50,
54, 55 and 59).
6.
Do not press the locking button on the shaft while the machine is still rotating
(see page 59).
7.
Do not operate without the protection guard or position it incorrectly (see pages
54 and 59).
8.
Never touch the disc immediately after the operation as it may be hot (page 60).
9.
Do not lower or put down the machine until it has stopped moving (page60).
10.
Do not position youself or position the angle grinder incorrectly during the
activity and cutting operation (see pages 58, 60 and 61).
11.
Only carry out maintenance guided by this manual or by the PECOL Technical
Assistance Service (see pages 62 to 65).
12.
Do not connect the charger to a power grid that is not compliant with the
intended use of the power tool (see pages 50, 54, 57 y 64).
13.
Do not take the machine, discs and accessories to the limit of its capacity (see
pages 50, 54, 55, 56, 60, 61, 64 and 65).
14.
Do not combine or attempt to adapt for a conjugated use, batteries, chargers or
power tools with those of other brands or for other applications (see pages 50, 54, 64,
65 and 67).
15.
Do not store the battery for a long period with a charge of less than 50%, and
periodically check the charge level (see page 63).
16.
Do not leave the battery stored in environments with temperatures below 0°C or
above 50°C (see page 63).
17.
Do not put a battery that is already fully charged to charge again. Initial
overcharge can damage the battery (see page 56).
