3. Route the shoulder belt
under the armrest next to
the seat belt buckle, but
never under both armrests.
Buckle the seat belt. Make
sure the seat belt clicks in.
4. Pull upwards on the
shoulder belt to remove
slack in the lap belt. The lap
belt must be snug across
the child's thighs.
The shoulder belt should
lie flat across the child's
chest and rest between the
neck and the shoulder.
