Read this maintenance and operation manual carefully and make it availabe to other
people responsible for handling and using this appliance.
The FRICON equipment included in this Instruction Manual was conceived to preserve
previously frozen products. Any other use given to the product is not considered normal
use.
The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damages to people, objects, or
equipment that result from the following:
•
Any improper use;
•
Failure to comply with safety regulations contained in the manual;
•
Failure of electrical safety equipment or power failure;
•
Unauthorized equipment modifications and technical changes made by the
customer;
•
Use by unauthorized personnel;
•
Use of replacement parts that are not authorized by the manufacturer.
•
The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical modifications as a
result of improvements made to the equipment and new developments.
Safety Instructions and General Warnings
WARNING
• Do not store in this device explosive gases such as aerosols containing
inflammable propellants.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation grids. Do not damage the refrigerator circuit.
• Do not use mechanical devices in order to accelerate the defrosting other than the
ones recommended by the manufacturer;
• Do not use electrical appliances in the compartment designated for food
preservation!
• Each shelf supports a uniformly distributed maximum load of 45 kg.
• The values on the characteristics label have been measured in the climatic class
according to the specific EN ISO 23953-2 standard, as indicated:
o For equipment with climate class 3 the temperature and humidity values are,
respectively, 25 °C and 60 %HR.
o For equipment with climate class 4 the temperature and humidity values are,
respectively, 30 °C and 55 %HR.
• These equipments were measured and assessed under the device-specific ANSI /
NSF 7 standard, as indicated:
o For equipment with Type I climate class the temperature and humidity
values are respectively 24 °C and 55 %HR.
• Do not use power strips or extension cords as these present a fire or electric shock
hazard.
• Before any cleaning or maintenance operation disconnect the appliance from the
power source by removing the plug from the outlet!
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by personnel qualified for this
task so as to prevent hazardous situations.
