7. Ensure reference travel at a low cantilever speed from the stable position in
the direction of the reference switch.
8. Check whether the GDEA-... fulfils the following requirements:
– The cantilever moves completely through the intended positioning cycle.
– The cantilever stops as soon as it reaches a limit switch.
If the sensors do not respond, refer to the chapter "Instructions on faults" or to
the operating instructions.
9. Start a check movement limited to low dynamics.
During test travel:
10. Check the points as follows:
– The positioning path must be traversed completely.
– The cantilever arm reacts as expected.
If it does not react as expected:
11. Conclude the test run immediately.
12. Check the following points on your application:
– The drive package
– The mechanical fittings
– The electrical connections (see also the chapter "Eliminating faults")
For further tests read the test points in the chapter "Eliminating faults".
Test run without faults:
13. Make sure that the test run is repeated with gradual increases in speed until
the desired operating speed is reached.
14. Conclude the test run.
If the work load is modified:
