HiFD disks can be formatted in much the same manner as
ordinary floppy disks. To format, simply select the HiFD drive
instead of a floppy drive. Then format the disk in the same
manner you would with an ordinary floppy.
Floppy disks have a "write protect" tab to prevent accidentally
erasing data. Illustrated below are its settings.

HiFD, 2HD and 2DD 3.5" disks are supported in this drive.
