SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Wear suitable protective clothing for your own safety. Wear personal protec-
tive equipment. This includes at least: hand/wrist guards, knee pads, head
protection and elbow pads. Never use the scooter without shoes!
• Caution! Keep small children away from the product. Construction related risk
of pinching!
• Caution! Make sure when you place your foot on the rear footboard that it can
not end up under the front footboard, while bobbing. Risk of injury!
• The scooter is only intended for use by one person.
• Only use the scooter on surfaces that are suitable for it, i.e. those which are
flat, clean, dry, and use the scooter where possible away from other road us-
ers. Avoid sloping ground. The brakes may become hot if the scooter has been
used for a while! They shouldn't be touched until they have cooled down.
• Always be considerate of others.
• Before you begin – Ensure that all fasteners and locking parts are intact and
tight, e.g. the folding mechanism and the height setting of the handlebar. The
functions of self-securing screw threads can be impaired after repeated loos-
ening and tightening of the connecting elements. Check especially for the
correct alignment and fastening of the steering set-up. Make sure that the
stand is folded safely while driving.
• Do not use the scooter at twilight, at night or in poor visibility. Do not use it on
roads or thoroughfares or on slopes or hills. Avoid being in the proximity of
stairs and open water.
• The scooter is not suitable for jumps.
• Children should only use the product when they are under adult supervision.
• Prior to using the scooter, please inform yourself about restricting applicable
traffic regulations for the intended area of application. It is intended for use on
footpaths.
• The use of the product requires specific skills and knowledge to be able to
avoid injuries due to crashes and collisions.
• Ensure when riding that the logo on the handlebar points to the front or else
that the push buttons is as such oriented backwards.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
No tools are required for the assembly. The scooter is shipped to you in the
(folded up) transport state! (Picture 1)
IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SCOOTER RIDE-READY,
PLEASE PROCEED AS FOLLOWS
• Place the scooter in front of you. Fold the handlebar stem upwards by pres-
sing the lever on the front of the hinge of the scooter downwards, while at the
same time pulling the handlebar stem away from the footboard until it audibly
clicks into place. (Picture 2) The previously fixed handlebar stem is now free
of the footboard. If necessary, rotate the handlebar so that the HUDORA logo
on the handlebar stem is at the front.
• Press the locking knobs into the handlebar grips, and then pull the handles
downwards and out of their holders and insert the handlebar grips into the
T-piece of the handlebar shaft (Picture 3) Turn the handlebar grips until the
locking buttons are positioned in the two openings intended for them and you
hear them click into place. Check that both handlebar grips are fitted correctly
by pulling them outwards. If they do not move, they have been assembled in
accordance with the instructions. (Picture 4)
• The handlebars can be locked into place at different heights. To adjust the
height of the handlebars, release the quick release fastener on the handlebars
by pushing the lever of the quick release fastener away from the handlebar
stem until the lever is parallel to the handlebar stem grip. (Picture 5) If neces-
sary, please press the locking button, so that the handlebar rod can be moved.
Position the handlebar stem in the handlebar shaft, so that the handlebar
stem attains your preferred height and the corresponding push button audibly
clicks into place. (Picture 6) Caution! The scooter may only be operated, inso-
far as the push button has clicked into place!
• Now close the quick release fastener by pushing the lever down to the han-
dlebar stem. (Picture 7)
• The maximum height cannot be exceeded due to the integrated lock. If the
handlebar is not fitting tightly enough at the required height, open the quick
release fastener again and twist the screw opposite to it further into the
thread so that the fastening bracket fits more tightly to the handlebar rod.
(Picture 8) Never unscrew the screws completely out of their holders! Repeat
this process until the handlebar rod can be aligned securely.
• Always check that all parts are fitting tightly before use, particularly the fold-
ing mechanism, the handlebar lock and the wheels. Only after complete ex-
amination is the scooter ready to ride. (Picture 9)
IN ORDER TO PLACE THE SCOOTER IN THE TRANSPORT STATE AGAIN,
PLEASE PROCEED AS FOLLOWS
• If necessary, rotate the handlebar so that the HUDORA logo on the handlebar
stem is at the front.
• Release the quick release fastener by pushing the lever of the quick release
fastener away from the handlebar stem. (Picture 5) Please press the locking
button so that the handlebar rod can be moved.
• Push the handlebar rod as far as it will go into the handlebar stem. The locking
button thereby disappears into the shaft.
• Close the quick release fastener by pushing the lever of the quick release
fastener down to the handlebar stem. (Picture 7)
• Use your thumbs to press both locking buttons in the handlebar grips and pull
the handlebar grips outwards until they are loosened from the T piece. Slide
the handlebar handles from below as far as necessary into the respective
holder, so that they are securely fixed.
• The front rolls should be aligned to the front. Make sure that the front foot-
board is in the lowest position; otherwise the handlebar stem will later not
click into place.
• Now press the lever on the hinge of the scooter, while at the same time
pushing the handlebar stem downwards towards the footboard until it rests
against the back footboard. The now fixed handlebar stem can now be used
to carry the scooter. (Picture 1)
