SafETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Wear suitable protective clothing for your own safety. Wear personal protec-
tive equipment. This includes at least: hand/wrist guards, knee pads, head
protection and elbow pads. Never use the scooter without shoes!
• Caution! Keep small children away from the product. Construction related
risk of pinching!
• Caution! Make sure when you place your foot on the rear footboard that it can
not end up under the front footboard, while bobbing. Risk of injury!
• The scooter is only intended for use by one person.
• Only use the scooter on surfaces that are suitable for it, i.e. those which are
flat, clean, dry, and use the scooter where possible away from other road
users. Avoid sloping ground. The brakes may become hot if the scooter has
been used for a while! They shouldn't be touched until they have cooled
down.
• Always be considerate of others.
• Before you begin – Ensure that all fasteners and locking parts are intact and
tight, e.g. the folding mechanism and the height setting of the handlebar. The
functions of self-securing screw threads can be impaired after repeated loos-
ening and tightening of the connecting elements. Check especially for the
correct alignment and fastening of the steering set-up. Make sure that the
stand is folded safely while driving.
• Do not use the scooter at twilight, at night or in poor visibility. Do not use it on
roads or thoroughfares or on slopes or hills. Avoid being in the proximity of
stairs and open water.
• The scooter is not suitable for jumps.
• Children should only use the product when they are under adult supervision.
• Prior to using the scooter, please inform yourself about restricting applicable
traffic regulations for the intended area of application. It is intended for use
on footpaths.
• The use of the product requires specific skills and knowledge to be able to
avoid injuries due to crashes and collisions.
• Ensure when riding that the logo on the handlebar points to the front or else
that the push buttons is as such oriented backwards.
INSTRUCTIONS ON aSSEMBLY
No tools are required for the assembly. The scooter is shipped to you in the
(folded up) transport state! This facilitates the first set-up. Before you begin,
first place your Bobbing Scooter on the stands by folding these out with the
hand. (Fig. 1)

IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SCOOTER RIDE-READY,
PLEASE PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:
Loosen the quick-locking mechanism on the handlebar by pushing the lever
of the quick-locking mechanism away from the handlebar (Fig. 2). Press the
locking button on the handlebar (Fig. 3) and use the handles to pull the rod
forward until the next hole. The previously fixed handlebar (Fig. 4a) is now free
from the footboard (Fig. 4b). Now fold the handlebar upwards and let the lower
handlebar clamp snap into place, in the fork clamp (Fig. 5a). Close the connec-
ting lever between the two clamps (Figures 5b - 5f) and turn the handlebar 180
degrees to the front (Fig. 6a), so that the alignment of the front roll is as shown
in Fig. 6b. The HUDORA logo on the handlebar is now directed to the front. Press
the locking buttons on the handlebar grips (Fig. 7a), drag the handlebar grips out
(Fig. 7b) and insert the handlebar grips into the T-piece handlebar shaft (Fig. 7c).
Check for the correct fit of the two handlebar grips, by pulling them outwards.
Insofar as the two handlebar grips do not move, this is an indication that they are
fitted correctly. The handlebar can be locked in, at different heights. Position the
handlebar in the handlebar shaft so that the handlebar has the preferred height
and the corresponding push button has snapped into place. The maximum ex-
tension height can not be exceeded due to the built-in securing. You should the-
reafter close the quick-locking mechanism (Fig. 8a - 8b). In the event that the sit
of the handlebar is not firm enough at the desired height, open the quick-locking
mechanism again and turn the opposite screw deeper into the thread, so that
the closure clamp is strapped more tightly against the handlebar. Repeat this
procedure until the handlebar can be safely adjusted. Always check to ensure
that all parts are secure prior to use, in particular the folding mechanism, the
handlebar locking mechanism and the rolls.
IN ORDER TO PLACE THE SCOOTER IN THE TRANSPORT STATE AGAIN,
PLEASE PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:
Use your thumbs to press the locking buttons of the handlebar grips and pull
the handlebar grips so far outwards until they are completely loosened off from
the T-piece. Slide the handlebar grips so far in the respective holder, so that the
locking button can be hooked into the recess. Turn the handlebar 180° back-
wards, so that the HUDORA logo on the handlebar is directed to the rear and the
front roll is aligned as shown in Fig. 6a. Open the quick-locking mechanism on
the handlebar and drag the handlebar out, up to the highest position. You should
thereafter open the connecting lever between the handlebars and frame. Please
make sure that the front footboard is in the lowest position, otherwise the han-
dlebar will later not be able to snap into place. Pull the handlebar upwards and
fold it backwards into the recess on the rear footboard. Now press the locking
button and press the handlebar until the locking button clicks into place in the
second hole. The device on the handlebar will also at the same time snap into
place on the footboard (Fig. 4a). You should thereafter close the quick-locking
mechanism. The scooter can now be carried using the fixed handlebar.
USaGE INSTRUCTIONS
NOTHING'S EASY AT FIRST ...
... most accidents happen to "beginners" within the first ten minutes. Particular
care should be taken during this stage.
HOW TO RIDE THE SCOOTER
• Preparation
You have to ensure that you have sufficient free space both in front and next
to you, especially during your first riding attempts. The route to be travelled
must be free of other road users. Start slowly and cautiously. Please observe
the safety instructions. The front footboard must be in its lowest position.
• Climbing on
Hold the handlebar grips firmly with both hands. Place your strong foot (in
the case of those right-handed, it is in most cases the right foot) on the front
footboard, while the weak foot initially remains on the ground.
• Starting
You should now use your weak foot to thrust yourself forward, so that you
can start to roll with the scooter. As long as you are rolling, maintaining your
balance is easy. It only turns wonky at low speeds or when stationary.
