7.3.- REPAIR

! The repair of the repeater will be only carried out by
authorized technical personnel.
When bad working is detected in the repeater, it will be first
checked if it is not due to an external reason.
Before opening the repeater, the equipment will be disconnected and the
power supply cable will be released.
Do not short-circuit the components while the adjusting is carried out.
Use insulated adjusting tools in order not to damage the adjustings.
Do not force the variable components. Adjust them slowly and softly.
Follow carefully the instructions shown in the technical manual or on its
default, the indicated ones from the factory. If the desired result is not
produced, repeat the operation until it is obtained.
When all the adjustings have been made, check the state of the weldings of
the connectors, connection cables and tighten the screws. Make sure that
there are not communicated components
Use the suitable instrumental and tools.
In order to detect problems in the transmission, set a power load of 50 ohm
in the output connector of the transmitter antenna. If the problem is in the
reception, connect an antenna or a signal generator in its corresponding
connector.
