- If a ventilator is installed in a duct, the duct must be exclusively for the ventilation system.
S tarting up .
B efore starting up the machine, mak e sure that:
- T he ap p aratus is w ell secured and the electrical connections have been carried out correctly.
- T he safety devices have been adeq uately connected.
- N o loose material or fitting remains can be suck ed up by the ventilator. If the ventilator has been mounted in a
duct, mak e sure it is clear of loose material.
- T he earth fitting s are adeq uately connected.
- T he electrical safety devices are correctly connected, adeq uately adjusted and ready for use.
- T he w ire and electrical connections inp uts are correctly sealed and w ater-tig ht.
W hen starting up the machine, mak e sure that:
- T he p rop eller turns in the correct direction.
- T here are no abnormal vibrations.
- If any of the electrical safety devices blow , the ap p aratus must be q uick ly disconnected from the mains sup p ly.
T he w hole installation should be carefully check ed before trying to start up the machine ag ain.
M aintenance.
- B efore manip ulating the ventilator, mak e sure it is disconnected from the mains sup p ly even if it has p reviously
been sw itched off. P revent the p ossibility of anyone else connecting it w hile it is being manip ulated.
- T he ap p aratus must be reg ularly insp ected. T hese insp ections should be carried out bearing in mind the
machine's w ork ing conditions, in order to avoid dirt or dust accumulating on the p rop eller, turbine, motor or
g rids. T his could be dang erous and p ercep tibly shorten the w ork ing life of the ventilator unit.
- W hile cleaning , g reat care should be tak en not to unstable the p rop eller or turbine.
- A ll maintenance and rep air w ork should be carried out in strict comp liance w ith each country's current safety
reg ulations.
R ecycling .
- E E C S tandards, tog ether w ith the resp onsibility w e should assume w ith future g enerations in mind, oblig e us to
recycle all the materials w e can. T herefore, p lease dep osit all left-over material and p ack ag ing in their
corresp onding recycling containers and hand in the rep laced machines to the nearest handler of this typ e of
w aste p roduct.
