– Remove the bleed screw (19) from the oil valve (9-13).
– Loosen and unscrew the lock nut (18) using appropriate
C-spanner (table "TOOLS").
NOTICE
If difficult to remove, the spacer (17*) can be knocked
loose using a mallet.
– Remove the spacer (17*).
– Loosen the oil valve (9-13) and push it into the
accumulator shell (1).
– Reach into the opening and remove the following parts
from the oil valve (9-13) within the accumulator shell:
support ring (23*), O-ring (16), washer (15).
– Take the parts out of the accumulator shell (1) through the
opening.
– Reach into the opening again and loosen the anti-
extrusion ring (14) from the oil valve (9-13).
– Then fold the anti-extrusion ring (14) as shown in the
picture and remove it from the accumulator shell (1).
– Remove the oil valve (9-13) from the accumulator shell
(1).
– Pull the bladder (2) through the opening of the fluid side of
the accumulator shell (1) (draw a vacuum).

4.1. PRESSURE VESSEL
NOTICE
The accumulator shell (1) must be cleaned in compliance
with material compatibility.
The inside of the accumulator shell (1) must be free of
foreign bodies and contaminants.
The opening on the oil side (sealing surface) must not be
damaged (e.g. scratches, corrosion).
The accumulator shell (1) must be free of damage.
Damage on the sealing surfaces can result in leaks.
If external or internal damage is found, the pressure vessel
must be submitted to the manufacturer and, if necessary,
the relevant inspection authority, for appraisal before it is
reused.
