4.2. BLADDER
NOTICE
The bladder (2) must be cleaned in compliance with
material compatibility.
Ensure that none of the cleaning fluid enters the bladder
(2).
Re-vulcanisation or repair of the bladder (2) is not
permitted.
– Check bladder (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
4.3. OIL VALVE
NOTICE
The oil valve (9-13) must be cleaned in compliance with
EN
material compatibility.
– Push down the valve plate (10) and at the same time turn
through approx. 90° approx. each time to ensure it moves
freely. If the safety nut (12) is loose and/or the valve plate
(10) is tight, the oil valve must be replaced (9-13).
Check the oil valve (9-13) thoroughly for damage (e.g.
mechanical damage, corrosion) and replace if necessary.
4.4. ANTI-EXTRUSION RING
NOTICE
The anti-extrusion ring (14) must be cleaned in compliance
with material compatibility.
– Elastomer and steel parts must be checked for damage
(e.g. cracks, brittleness, signs of ageing in the elastomer
or notches in the steel) and replaced if necessary.
4.5. OTHER PARTS
NOTICE
The other parts must be cleaned in compliance with
material compatibility.
– Check the other parts for damage as well and replace if
necessary.
4.6. SEAL KIT
The seal kit must always be replaced
(table "SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES").

5. PREPARATION FOR REPEAT
TESTING
5.1. INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INSPECTION
The pressure vessel (1) must be presented to the approval
authority in a clean condition (inside and out). The label on
the vessel must be legible. The certificate documents must
be submitted.
5.2. PRESSURE TEST
NOTICE
Safety precautions according to section 2. must be
observed.
The procedure must be agreed with the authorised
inspector.
6. ASSEMBLY OF THE HYDRAULIC
ACCUMULATOR
NOTICE
Safety precautions according to section 2 must be
observed.
The lubricant used must be appropriate to the application.
– The internal surface of the accumulator shell (1) must be
thoroughly oiled or sprayed with the intended operating
medium to ensure easy insertion of the bladder (2)
– The inside of the accumulator shell (1) must be free of
foreign bodies and contaminants.
The opening on the oil side (sealing surface) must not be
damaged (e.g. scratches, corrosion).
