In the event of prolonged inactivi-
ty, besides disconnecting the sup-
ply lines, you must thoroughly cle-

DAILY CLEANING

water jets or steam cleaners.
1- Lift the cooking grills and use a
non-abrasive sponge to clean them
thoroughly, use slightly soapy luke-
warm water.
2- Apply the cleaning liquid using
normal spray over all steel parts and
manually thoroughly clean the entire
surface using a non-abrasive sponge.
Dry the surfaces using non-abrasive
material
Take the protection off the con-
tainer to facilitate cleaning - see
ILL sect. - REF p).
3- Remove, empty and carefully wash
the containers and their liquid collection
accessories (see Detail A). After clean-
ing, dry them thoroughly
4- Carefully put all removed parts
back in their housing, taking care not
to reverse the assembly sequence.
If necessary, repeat the operations de-
scribed above for a new cleaning cycle.
GRILLS: To remove any incrustations,
use a non-abrasive sponge and mild
detergent liquid. Clean the grills with

a damp cloth.
Humidity residue deposited on
the grills can damage the appli-
ance and cause the grills to wear
quickly.
In order to eliminate every resid-
ual of moisture on the grills, to
ward off any early wear, once
routine cleaning operations are over,
switch the appliance on for approxi-
mately 10'.

Should a problem occur, the ge-
neric operator performs the first
search and, if qualified, elimina-
tes the cause of the problem and re-
stores the appliance correctly.
If the problem cannot be resol-
ved, turn the appliance off, di-
sconnect it from the electrical
mains and shut all the supply valves.
Then contact authorized customer
service.
The authorized maintenance te-
chnician intervenes when the ge-
neric operator was not able to
pinpoint the cause of the problem, or
whenever restoration of correct opera-
tion of the appliance entails executing
operations for which the generic opera-
tor is not qualified.
