Improper use of the product.

Use of the product with defective or malfunctioning safety and

Improper assembly by unauthorised personnel.

Use of components and adaptations that do not originate from

Steelcase. If parts are procured from other companies, it is not
possible to guarantee that they are designed and produced in a
manner suitable for the load and safety requirements.
Plans from third party suppliers that have been proven to lead to

misuse of the product.
Unapproved modifications to the product with regard to its design

and configuration.
Loads on the product exceeding the load limits specified by the

manufacturer.
Improper maintenance, maintenance work performed by third

parties or unqualified personnel.
Inadequate monitoring of the product components (functional

checks).
Improper disposal and return of the product or packaging to the

recycling process.
Resale to a third party without including the user's manual.

Disasters due to the effects of a foreign object or force majeure.

Extensive assembly, maintenance and disposal tasks may only
be performed by qualified specialist personnel.
