02. Intended use
The BE 50 is a battery-powered, mobile, hand-held
measuring instrument with extensive measurement op-
tions. It is of a very sturdy design: it is dustproof and
watertight to IP 67 and, thanks to CAT IV (600 V), offers a
high degree of safety for all electrical work, extending as
far as measurements on operating equipment at input
level.
It has the following usage characteristics and features:
- automatic/manual range selection
- white illuminated display, 4000 digit
- can even be operated when wearing gloves
- protection class IP 67, safety CAT III (1000 V) / CAT IV
(600 V)
- measurement of DC and AC voltage
- measurement of DC and AC current
- measurement of resistance
- measurement of capacitance
- measurement of frequency/duty cycle
- measurement of temperature using an external K-type
sensor
- diode test function
- continuity check, acoustic
- hold and relative value measurement function
