Switch off the appliance and disconnect the measu-
ring cables from the sockets before opening the
appliance! Always replace the internal fuses with
a fuse of the same type; never insert a fuse with a
higher current rating or a makeshift fuse! This
would result in the destruction of the appliance and
loss of the guarantee.
1. Open the rear cover of the housing by removing the
six screws.
2. Replace the defective fuse:
- 400 mA range: 0.5 A/1000 V
- 10A range: 10 A/1000 V
3. Replace the cover and secure it with the screws.
Use exclusively original fuses!

Battery replacement

1. Open the central, small housing cover by removing the
B -

two screws.
2. Replace the battery with a new one of the same type (IEC
GF 22 / NEDA 1604). Use only high-grade batteries!
3. Replace the cover and secure it with the screws.
Only work with the appliance again if the housing
is completely and securely closed.
07. Care and maintenance
Clean the device with a moist, soft, lint-free cloth. Take
care that no moisture enters the housing. Do not use
sprays, solvents, cleaning agents containing alcohol or
scouring agents; use only clean water to moisten the
cloth. For reasons of safety, the voltage checker should
not be used for approx. 5 hours after cleaning.
Strong mechanical stresses, such as as pressure or
vibration.
