Residual charges in the capacitor and damaged insula-
tion layers/dielectrics can cause considerable errors in
the results.
Measurement of frequency/duty cycle
1. Turn the rotary switch to the frequency measure-
ment range (Hz%)
2. Insert the plug of the red measuring cable in the V/Ω
socket and the black measuring cable in the COM so-
cket.
3. Connect the measuring cables to the object to be
measured. The frequency will now be displayed.
4. To measure the duty cycle, press 'Hz%'.
Measurement of temperature
Never connect the measuring inputs to a voltage
source. This will destroy the measuring instrument..
1. Turn the rotary switch to 'Temp' and switch between °C
and °F as desired using the °C/°F button. °F.
2. Plug the temperature sensor connectors into the 'COM'
(-) and 'V/Ω' (+) sockets, observing the correct polarity.
3. Guide the measuring tip of the temperature sensor to the
object to be measured and wait, if possible, approx. 30
sec until a stable measured value is displayed.
4. Disconnect the temperature sensor from the sockets be-
fore switching to a different measurement mode.
