NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.
Smoking
During first use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal
with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues
burning off the nonstick Cooking Plates and the Heating Element. Allow
the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
Non-stick Cooking Surfaces
Before each use, it is recommended that you coat the Cooking Surface
lightly with a small amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be
applied with a paper towel or with a non-stick oil spray.
Cooking Tips
When cooking thick meats or raw meat, some may find it
helpful to flip the meat halfway through cooking.
Different meats cook at different rates. Pre-cooked meats
will heat and cook faster than raw meats.
If preferred, use the Cooking Surface to lightly toast your bread.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Please take care of your BREAKFAST SANDWICH MAKER by
following these simple instructions and precautions.
• Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is completely cool before cleaning.
• Clean the upper and lower Non-stick Cooking Surfaces
with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• Wipe the Warming Tray, Drip Tray and exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
