17.7 Planing
The unused part of the planing shaft must be covered by the cover. Never touch the
edges of the workpiece with your fingers, but always leave both hands on the
workpiece with your fingers when planing. If the workpiece is short and narrow, use
the sliding stick.
Only plane workpieces that rest firmly on the machine and that can be guided safely!

Fix the planer fence (1) in the desired working
Set the desired cutting depth on the adjusting
