DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION KEYS

4.3.1. Key

Press the key to switch on the instrument. After start-up, display backlight is active, and
deactivates automatically after approx. 30s. Press and hold the key for approx. 2s to
switch off the instrument.
4.3.2. key
Press the key to activate/deactivate the display backlight

4.3.3. HOLD key

Press the HOLD key to freeze/unfreeze the value of the measured quantity on the display.
Symbol "HOLD" is displayed when this function is activated.

4.3.4. ZERO key

Press the ZERO key in order to eliminate the residual magnetization before taking any DC
current measurement and with the toroid closed. The "ZERO" symbol appears for an
instant and the value is zeroed on the display.
4.3.5. key
Press the key to activate/deactivate the white LED illuminator (see Fig. 1 - part 9). In
order to preserve battery consumption, the illuminator turns off automatically after 2
minutes.

4.3.6. Auto Power OFF function

In order to preserve the internal batteries, the instrument switches off automatically after
about 10 minutes of idleness. To disable the function proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the instrument with key
2. Keeping the HOLD key pressed, turn the instrument on with the key
To reactivate the function, switch off and on the instrument by pressing key
