5. Environment
The cooktop has been designed with pro-
tection of the environment in mind. Be en-
vironmentally aware.
Use the adequate power level for each cook-
ing operation and select utensils of a suitable
size for the food you are going to cook. The
heat transmission is best when the base of
the utensil and the diameter of the cooking
zone are the same size. When you have fin-
ished cooking, you may leave the utensil
where it is to make use of the accumulated
residual heat. This will save energy.
Use a lid whenever you can in order to re-
duce the heat lost through steam.
