1. Drape hot plastic cone over cast and
apply second vacuum.
Allow to cool.
2. While still on cast centralise a 30 mm
dia. Hole Cutter in the impression in the
plastic formed by the central hole of the
Former.
3. Build up distal end of cast/flexible socket
with plaster to the knee interface. Ensure
the plaster does not enter hole (plug
with plasticine).
4. Pull a latex cone over the cast/flexible
socket, followed by a nylon stocking to
act as a wick for the vacuum.
5. Fabricate the outer container using a
standard drape techniques.
6. On completion remove the outer
container and remove the Former from
the flexible socket.
7. Insert the Valve Housing 093501 through
the hole in the flexible socket. (Use
Vaseline if required).
This is intended to be a tight fit do not
enlarge hole.
Tighten the Nut 093502 using Locking
Ring 940063.
8. Retighten the valve nut after 24 hours.

remove and clean all internal parts prior
