Recommendation for mixing the spray liquid.
First pour in 1/3 of the water, add the spray
medium and then top up with the remaining
water. The screw cap can be used to measu-
re the spray substance (Figure 6).
• Screw down the screw cap into the tank as
far as it will go (Figure 7).
• Release the pump handle by pushing down-
wards and then turning to the right. (Figure 8).
• Generate pressure in the tank, max. 3 bar
(red line on the piston-type pressure gauge,
Figure 9). The safety valve integrated into
the piston-type pressure gauge prevents
excess pressure build-up.
• Lock the pump handle (Figure 10).
• Figure 11 shows the relationship between
pressure and flow rate for the standard
nozzle supplied with the sprayer.
7 Use
(Figure 12 - 13)
• Before use press discharge valve and hold
spray lance vertically upright to let air out of
disharge equipment. This will assure perfect
operation of sprayer.
• See Figure 12a or 12b for options on how to
carry your sprayer.
• Make sure you have the correct spray pres-
sure (1.5 – 2.5 bar) (Figure 11).
• Squeeze the lever on the discharge valve to
start spraying (Figure 13).
8 Nach Gebrauch
 Always empty sprayer after use!
• Do not dispose of residual liquid down the
drain (Figure 14).
Dilute the residual spray medium twice
using 1/2 liter of water each time. Spray this
liquid onto the surface being treated.
Dispose of excess environmentally harmful
substances as hazardous waste. Observe
the information issued by the spray medium
manufacturer.
• Depressurize. Pull up the knob from the
safety valve until air stops blowing (Figure
15).

• Now remove the screw cap from the tank
and place it in the holder (Figure 16 - 17).
• Wipe the sprayer with a damp cloth.
• Wash protective clothing and hands after
use.
• To dry and store the tank, leave it open in
a dry, shaded and frost-proof environment
(Figure 18).

9 Maintenance and Care

(Figure 19 - 24)
After using 50 times, carry out the following
at least once per year:
• Grease the piston washer (Figure 19 - 22).
• Clean nozzle and nozzle insert under
running water and clean out nozzle using a
needle pin (Figure 23).
• Remove filter and wash under running
water (Figure 24).
• Grease O-rings on a regular basis.
• In many countries, compression sprayer
operators are legally obliged to perform
or have performed various checks on the
device throughout its lifespan.
These national regulations must be obser-
ved.
The tests may only be performed by qualified
individuals.
Tests:
External and internal test
Strength test
We are happy to provide you with test recom-
mendations.
