Strictly follow the Instructions for Use

Any use of the device requires full understanding and strict observation of these
Instructions for Use.
The device is only to be used for the purposes specified here.
1.2

Maintenance

The device must be inspected and serviced regularly by trained service personnel.
Repairs to the device may only be carried out by trained service personnel.
We recommend taking out a service contract with Dräger and having all repairs carried out by
Dräger.
Use only original Dräger parts for maintenance work.
1.3

Accessories

Only the accessories specified in the order list may be used.
1.4

Use in areas subject to explosion hazards

Equipment or components which have been tested and approved according to national mining
regulations and the national regulations on electrical equipment in rooms subject to explosion
hazards may be used only under the conditions specified in the approval.
Modification of components or the use of faulty or incomplete parts is not permitted.
In case of repairs to equipment or components of this type, the national regulations must be
observed.

Safety symbols used in these Instructions for Use

These Instructions for Use include risk and hazard warnings pertaining to the use of this device.
These warnings have signal words which identify the degree of danger. These signal words and
the corresponding hazards are as follows:

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if no safety precautions are taken,
could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in
physical injury to you, or damage to the product.
It may also be used to alert against unsafe practices.
