The pneumatic interfaces type CPX−GP−... are intended for
use only in CPX terminals. A CPX pneumatic interface in a
CPX terminal connects the modular electrical periphery
type 50 (CPX) with the pneumatics type 03 (Midi/Maxi),
type 12 (CPA) or type 44 (VTSA, ISO).
The maximum values specified in the section Technical
specifications" must be observed during operation. De
tailed information can be found in the manual for the I/O
modules and pneumatic interfaces P.BE−CPX−EA−.. as well
as in the CPX system manual P.BE−CPX−SYS−.. .
Warning
S Before carrying out installation and maintenance
work, switch off the following:
the compressed air supply,
the operating and load voltage supplies.
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross−sec
tional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The pneumatic interfaces contain electrostatically
sensitive components. Do not therefore touch any
contacts. Observe the regulations for handling elec
trostatically sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
