Installation of the software for image and video viewing on a PC and MAC

In order to reproduce the images and videos which you have recorded using the ROCAM 3 you
will need a specially developed video codec in combination with the Apple QuickTime Player. The
codec can be found on the enclosed CD.
1.) Installation on a PC
Lay the enclosed CD in the CD/DVD drive of your PC. In as far as the installation menu is not
automatically executed, start it using the file „Rocam.exe" in the root directory on the CD. The
installation menu will subsequently open:
Next install the QuickTime player, if it is not already installed on your system, by pressing the com-
mand button. Then install the codec, also by pressing the command button. Further instructions
for how to perform the installation can be obtained by pressing the command button.
After successful installation of QuickTime and the codec you will be able to view all of your recor-
dings in QuickTime on your PC.
2.) Installation on a MAC
The QuickTime Player is installed on your Mac in the standard manner. You now simply need to
install the coded supplied on the enclosed CD.
Lay the enclosed CD in the CD/DVD drive of your MAC. In as far as the CD is not executed auto-
matically, start it by double-clicking on your desktop.
Copy the codec out of the directory /Codec/Mac into the directory /Library/QuickTime.
You can now comfortably view the videos and images on your MAC in QuickTime.
