5. Secure the Toilet
Carefully lower the toilet into place. Make sure the T-bolts are aligned with the holes in the plate on
the bottom of the toilet as the toilet is lowered.
Using a long needlenose pliers, position a washer clip, oriented as shown, underneath the nut on
one of the T-bolts. Repeat with the other side. When doing this on the right side, carefully move the
wires to the side to allow room for the clip to be moved into place.
Using a 7/16" pivoting socket and ratchet with a 12" (305 mm) extension, evenly tighten the T-bolt
nuts on each side of the toilet.
