OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
e. Place the selected wheel on the spindle and
align it with the flange. Always install the
grinding wheel with the depressed center
against the inner flange (B).
f. When installing the grinding wheel (M), position
it so that the raised, small diameter portion
of the outer flange (C) faces the hole in the
grinding wheel (see figure 6a). When installing
the cut-off wheel (K), position it so that the flat
surface faces the cut-off wheel (see figure 6b).
CAUTION:
• Do not reverse the outer flange. If the ourter
flange is not installed properly, the wheel cannot
be tightened properly and possibly serious injury can result.
g. Thread the outer flange onto the spindle.
h. Depress the spindle-lock button (A) and tighten the wheel securely by turning the outer
flange clockwise with the wrench (I).
CAUTION:
• Use grinding guard only with grinding wheels. Use cutting guard only with cut-off wheels.
To Remove Wheel
a. Remove the battery pack.
b. Depress the spindle-lock button (A) and loosen the outer flange (C) by turning it
counterclockwise with the wrench (I).
c. Remove the outer flange and remove the wheel (K, M).
