If you do not replace the fi lter in time, the appliance stops operating in approx.
2 weeks after the fi lter replacement light started fl ashing. When the appliance
is locked, it does not operate until you have replaced the new fi lter and pres-
sed the reset button.
Note: When fi lter replacement light 2 and REPLACE FILTER on the control
panel are on constantly, the appliance is locked ( see section "Filter mainte-
nance" in this chapter for more information).
How long it takes before the appliance is locked depend on the operating
time and speed level selected after the fi lter replacement alert.
Approximately 1 day before the appliance locks, the appliance will beep every
30 minutes to inform you that one of the fi lters needs to be replaced .
You can switch off the appliance by pressing the on/off button.
If the appliance is locked:
Check which fi lter needs to be replaced ( see section "Filter replacement
lights").
Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
Replace the appropriate fi lter (see section "Replacing the fi lters")
Replacing the fi lters
Tip: Place the appliance against a wall for more stability when you remove or insert
the fi lters.
Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
Place your fi ngers in the recesses of the side panels and gently pull the top
part of the front panel towards you.Then lift the hooks at the bottom of the
panel out of the bottom of the appliance.
To remove fi lter 3 ( pre-fi lter), grab the two tabs and pull the fi lter towards you.
To remove fi lter 2 (Activated Carbon fi lter) , grab its tag and pull it towards you.
To remove fi lter 1 (HEPA fi lter) , grab its tag and pull it towards you.
Discard the fi lter that needs to be replaced and unpack the new fi lter.
