4. Notes on these Operating Instructions
Please read these operating
instructions carefully and obser-

ve the notes they contain as well
as the accompanying notes on
safety. Use these operating
instructions to familiarise yourself
with how to operate and control
your lawnmower, its proper use,
and the notes on safety.

5. Proper Use

The Brill Electric Strimmer has
been designed for trimming
uncultivated areas, thick weeds
and tall grass in domestic
gardens and allotments and
is not intended for commercial
use, for use in public facilities,
parks, sports grounds, on
roads, in agriculture or forestry.

Adjusting the Additional
Handle 7
(Fig. A)
The additional handle is height-
adjustable and can be rotated.
You can adjust the additional
handle to your own height and
preferred working position.
To do this, loosen both screws
on the back of the additional
handle, adjust the handle to the
desired working position, and
fix the additional handle in this
position by tightening the bolts.
Remember that the user or
operator is responsible for all
accidents that occur involving
other people or their property.
Keep these operating instructions
in a safe place.

Adjusting the Shoulder Strap
(Fig. A / A1)
Place the shoulder strap 6
diagonally across your body
and fasten as shown in Fig. A.
Adjust the length of the shoulder
strap so that you can guide the
Electric Strimmer just above the
ground (Fig. A1).
